Grout Sea Seal 2"/70'-- 55-76' 02 ' 271 c�33-70 _ 5-1- - ' NNW`G 770' - -0 02.0 2712 sand san - ' A surface seal was achieved by pumping a neat cement grout via a tremae tube (augmented with <4% bentonite) to the surface The wells were secured with a locking watertight cap encased in flush mounted traffic-rated well box tThe new wells were subsequently developed and were sampled on August 28, 2000 A quarterly monitoring report will be prepared once the data has been received from the laboratory 3.0 RESULTS OF INVESTIGATION The analytical results and field observations are discussed below Tabular summaries of all analytical data are included in Appendix A, and the boring logs are included in Appendix B A site map with soil boring and monitoring well locations is included as Figure 2 On September 11, 2000, a licensed surveyor surveyed the site to a City of Stockton benchmark elevation Two adjacent site wells were included in the survey, which is included in Appendix D 31 Analytical Results ' Soil Sample Analysts Low concentrations of diesel, 9 - 92 mg/kg, were detected in soil samples from MW-5 (MW-105) at 35, 70 and 95 feet bgs • A moderate concentration of diesel, 2050 mg/kg, was detected in the soil sample from ' MW-5 (MW-105) at 55 feet bgs • A moderate concentration of diesel, 604 mg/kg, was detected in the soil sample from MW-6 at 55 feet bgs ' • With the exception of 13 - 542 gg/kg xylene, the samples did not contain B rEX or TPH- G concentrations above the laboratory reporting limits • Lead concentrations in the samples ranged from <5 - 7 6 mg/kg ' Table 1 in Appendix A is a full summary of all soil analytical data collected at the site 32 Geology and Field Observations The following section discusses the subjective field observations and geology documented during this investigation based on the interpretations of the field geologist 1
