Well <br /> construction specifications are shown on Attachment 2; Table 1. The wells are being destroyed as <br /> part of the final site closure requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division <br /> (SJCEHD) (Attachment 3). <br /> WELL DESTRUCTION <br /> Site Specific Health and Safety Plan/Encroachment and Well Destruction Permits <br /> SECOR will prepare a site-specific Health and Safety Plan for well.destruction as required by the <br /> Occupational Health and Safety Administration (ASHA) Standard"Hazardous Waste Operations <br /> and Emergency Response" guidelines(29 CFR 1910.120). The document will be reviewed and <br /> signed by all SECOR personnel and subcontractors performing work at the site. <br /> Permits for the well destruction work will be obtained from the SJCEHD. Encroachment permits <br /> for one of the seven wells: MW-4, located in the city Right-of--Way will be obtained from the City <br /> of Lathrop Public Works Department prior to starting the field work.
