Site Closure Summary <br /> Fuller Mobile Home Park August 8, 1997 <br /> 365 E. Louise Avenue, Lathrop, California Page: 2 <br /> On December 21, 1994, after receiving the analytical results from the previous borings, <br /> WHF drilled and installed three monitonng wells, MW-5, 6 and 7 Each was 25 feet deep <br /> and soil samples were taken at five and ten feet <br /> On July 25, 1995, WHF Environmental Consultants, in conjunction with HKM <br /> Groundwater, Inc , conducted a groundwater sampling and reporting event Monitoring <br /> wells MW-1, 2, 3 and 5 are still contaminated with low levels of gasoline, diesel, benzene, <br /> toluene, ethyl-benzene and total xylenes <br /> IIn September 1995 WHdeveloped a work plan requested by San Joaquin County <br /> PHS/EHD to further define the lateral area to the southeast of the site for groundwater <br /> contamination This work plan also described final corrective action for the site Thus <br /> work scope was to be distributed for bid purposes after approval The work plan was <br /> disapproved for corrective action remeidiation, but was approved for the domestic water <br /> well closure The November 14, 1995 letter directs the closure of said well by November <br /> 30, 1995 <br /> On November 29, 1995 WHF in conjunction with HKM Environmental, Inc , conducted <br /> field measurement, well purging and groundwater sampling on seven (7) groundwater <br /> monitoring wells located on and off site Goundwater gradient was to the S 45 W All <br /> seven (7) groundwater monitoring wells had elevated levels of detectable petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons present <br /> In November 1995 WHF surveyed the property for closing the domestic well Previous <br /> site construction had removed the upper four (4) foot of casing and covered it over Once <br />' the well was found by magnetic survey and excavation, rains prevented the actual closure <br /> until February 1996 <br />' On February 19, 1996 WHF generated a letter report on the domestic well closure at this <br /> site <br /> On February 23, 1996 WHF submitted a revised work plan per San Joaquin PHS/EHD <br /> letter dated November 14, 1995 for a Phase III feasibility study of alternative clean-up <br />' methods Once the approval was received, Mr Ryan requested bids on the ongoing <br /> work <br />' On March 1, 1996 WHF in conjunction with HKM Environmental, Inc , conducted field <br /> measurements, well purging and groundwater monitoring well located on and off site <br /> Groundwater gradient was to the N45E and N55E Elevated levels of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons were identified in all wells except NW4 located on Bizzibe street off-site <br /> On June 11, 1996 WHF developed a Remediation Feasibility Work as requested by San <br /> Joaquin County PHS/EHD <br />
