(Delta),was retained to conduct a hydrogeologic investigation at
7910 Lower Sacramento Road In Stockton, California (Figure 1). The hydrogeolrgic assessment was
prompted by the detection of petroleum constituents in soils at the site during removal of the underground
E i
a storage tanks on December 20,198& On August 10 through 14, 1989,six soil borings were advanced at
the site, three of which were completed as monitoring wells. This report presents the results of soli boring
j advancement, monitoring well installation, and associated sampling and analytical work performed during
the Phase I hydrogeologic investigation.
i
. 1.1 1rpgaa
T"he Phase I hydrogeologic assessment was undertaken to determine the following:
• Evaluate the site geologic conditions.
® Evaluate the horizontal and vertical extent of petroleum constituents in soils beneath the
site.
• Determine whether dissolved p•.tr-,era+,ronsiitueats ware present in ground water beneath
the site. .
t
I • Determine the depth to ground water and the direction of ground water flow underlying
the site.
Evaluate the need for additional assessment or remedial action measures.
i
t
1 "';{
