Teichert and Son, with permit issued <br /> by San Joaquin County, removed three small gasoline storage tanks <br /> located Just south of the maintenance building as shown on the <br /> site plan. <br /> Soil tests were taken and analyzed. Results indicate <br /> contamination in the bottom of the tank hole. Results are <br /> r attached. <br /> On May 11, 1987, four backhoe trenches, located about 15 ' <br /> From the tank hole, were excavated to a depth of 18+ feet. <br /> Trench No. 1 was in the tank hole. The soil was contaminated <br /> with hydrocarbons to the full depth; therefore, no TPH nor BTS <br /> was run on the sample, but it was analyzed for lead at 1. 9 4 <br /> Mg/Kg . In addition, a clean sample (L51631) from trench No. 4 t <br /> was run for background lead at 5. 1 Mg/Kg, TPH, and BTS. Sample f <br /> was not contaminated. Lab results are attached. <br /> Excavated material was checked in the field with a Gas Tech ` <br /> Surveyor for TPH. Only the material from the tank hole indicated <br /> contamination. <br /> r <br /> -� i <br />
