I am particularly <br /> interested in the latest water sampling results from MW #14, <br /> which is downgradient from the Modesto Dry Ice site. Although <br /> some contamination was observed in that well in November, 1989, a <br /> later test showed it to be clean. I assume that the wells are <br /> being tested at least semi-annual y, and possibly •iftener; I <br /> would appreciate an update on laboratory results of wate, samples .. <br /> from bath MW #10 & 14. <br /> If the tests reveal that no ctntamination is present; then I do <br /> not believe that any further work is required by Mr. Deli 'Eva. <br /> Any contamination present beneath his property should have been <br /> detected in the down-gradient wells in the four years since the <br /> tank was pullrad. The value of the property does not justify the <br /> expanse of a groundwater investigation which is not needed or <br /> necessary; the monitoring wells on the adjacent site would have <br /> detected any contamination coming from the property. <br /> I would appreciate it if you would review the status of the <br /> Manteca Bean project and apprise me of the results. <br /> Sin re , <br /> i J.
