A transportable 100 scfm catalytic incinerator
was used for vapor control on this operation.
The entire short-term remediation program was completed over the period
of 25 June to 15 September 1992. Since the bulk of the program was
conducted during the 3rd quarter of 1992, the program totals are the
same as those reported herein.
This report does not detail the initial phase of remediation conducted
at this site from 13 October to 17 November 1989 where approximately
2,250 lbs of hydrocarbons were extracted form the soil . A
transportable internal combustion engine was used for vapor control
during the initial phase of remediation.
The report includes an overall summary of the quarterly remediation
statistics, a description of the individual monitorings, tabulated
results and copies of the reports of the laboratory analyses of vapor
samples taken from the system.
A site plan is also included showing the layout of the SVES and the
location of the individual vapor extraction wells and probes. The
vapor extraction system consists of four vapor recovery wells and one
monitoring well . {
