Ms. Michelle Stecrd—Le
Project 225-01-01, Page 2
Sample Analysis Results
All soil samples were analyzed at a State Certified Environmental Laboratory,
McCampbell Analyt', , of Paceco, California (#1644) for Total Petroleum S
Hydrocarbons as diY(TPH,` ), and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) q
by EPA methods 8015 modified/8020. The samples were also analyzed for Methyl-tert
Butyl Ether (MTBE) using the Central Valley RWQCB recommended method of EPA
8260 for Fuel Oxygenates. (Attachment A: Soil Sample Analytical Data).
The soil sample analysis showed all samples with detectable amounts of TPH as
gasoline as well as all constituents of Benzene,Ethylbenzene, Toluene, and Xylenes.
MTBE and other oxygenates were detected in all samples. Sample results are presented
in the tables below.
Soil Sample Analytical Results, TPH-g and BTEX
California Stop
2224 Manthy Road, Stockton, California
Sampled on January 10, 2002
Sample TPH-g benzene toluene ethylbenzene xylenes
1 @ 2-2.5' 10,000 3.4 340 230 1300
2 @ 0.5-1' 3400 17 150 49 230
3 @ 2-2.5' 770 ND<0.03 0.64 ND<0.03 ND<0.05
4 @ 2-2.5' 3500 ND<0.30 10 38 270
det. limit 1.0 0.005 0.005 0.005 0.005
Results are in mg/kg or parts per million (ppm).
