Emergency conditions are considered to exist if: <br /> Any member of the project are is involved in an accident or experiences <br />-" any adverse effects of symptoms of exposure while on site. <br /> - A condition is discovered that suggests the existence of a situation more <br /> hazardous than anticipated. <br /> 3.2 Onergency Procedures <br /> In the even of an emergency, the following emergency procedures should be <br /> followed. Personnel on-site should use the "buddy" system (pairs). Buddies <br /> should prearrange hand signals or other mean of communication. In <br /> emergencies the following hand signals are suggested: <br /> - Hand gripping throat: out of air, can't breathe. <br /> Grip partner's wrist or place both hands around waist: leave area <br /> immediately, no debate! <br />
