Main Street, Manteca, CaVornM <br /> Quarterly Ground Water Sampling Report <br /> IOctober, 1992 - January, 1993 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Site History <br /> I <br /> Royal y Oak Savings & Loan was the deed holder of this property, a 1.6 acre site on the <br /> northeast corner of Alameda and North Main Streets in Manteca, Cahfonua. The <br /> property is in Federal Re=vers&p under the admmmstratmon of the Resolution Trust <br /> Corporation. In 1985, the underground tanks from an abandoned filling station were <br /> removed; the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department determined that a <br /> petroleum release had occurred. <br /> Two (2) site investigations were and n between 1986 and 1990; one by Hazrdmg <br /> Lawson & Associates, and another by Canonme Engmeenng. <br /> In August of 1990, WHF Environmental Consultants, Inc,, {VVHF) submitted a work <br /> plan for the excavation of the contaminated soil. <br /> The excavation was started on September 20, 1990, and completed on October 3 1990. <br /> A total of 4,394 cubic yards were excavated, of which 903 cubic yards were <br /> contaminated. The 903 cubic yards of contaminated soil was remedmated by aeration, <br /> on site, this was completed on October 3, 1990. <br /> WHF proposed to install three (3) momtonng/extraction wells on the site. These wells <br /> are four inch (4") wells and were installed on November 12, 1990, through November <br /> 14, 1990. <br /> Wells were developed and sampled by McCain Environmental Services, December 3, <br /> 1990, through December 5, 1990. An aquifer pump test was performed on December <br /> 4, 1990, under the supervision of a certified engmeenng geologist. <br /> I <br />
