' ART 2001 <br /> • TI�n QUARTER, <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> ' JAMAR OIL DISTRIBUTION <br /> SEPTEMBER 2001 <br /> ' This correspondence stated that the proposal was not approved as submitted due to being incomplete <br /> The County requested that a new work plan proposal be submitted by April 23, 2001 The County <br /> required the work plan to include the following <br /> ' <br /> ° Aplan to continue the investigation of the vertical and lateral extent of hydrocarbons <br /> in soil and groundwater. <br /> • Installation of an extraction well and at least one soil vapor extraction well to enable <br /> the completion of a pumping test and soil vapor extraction test <br /> • Completion of the sensitive receptor/well survey <br /> ' 0 Analysis of soil and water samples by EPA Methods 8015M, 8020, and 8260. <br /> In addition to the workplan, the County required that all mforrnation massing from previously <br /> submitted reports be submitted to the County by April 23, 2001 The specific information rmssi ng <br /> from the previous reports include the following, <br /> • A comprehensive and detailed site map <br /> ' A geology description of the site <br /> • Comprehensive soil and groundwater monitoring analytical data must be presented <br /> ' in tables <br /> As a result of these directives, JPCA submitted a Characterization/Remediation Proposal dated <br /> ' April 20,2001 The County responded to this proposal in a May 22, 2001 letter to Mr Jay <br /> McIlrath. This letter stated that the proposal was not approved because it failed to include all of <br /> the elements as required by the County in its March 8,2001 letter The County requested that a <br /> ' new work plan proposal be submitted by June 5, 2001 and include all the required elements m the <br /> May 22,2001 letter. The County also directed that quarterly groundwater monitoring be initiated <br /> ' immediately within 14 days of the letter or the site would be out of compliance with regulatory <br /> directives and be reported to the State Nater Resources Control Board Cleanup Fund <br /> ' As a result of the directive from the County,JAMAR authorized GHH to conduct quarterly <br /> groundwater monitoring at the site On July 6,2001, GHH conducted third quarter groundwater <br /> sampling Copies of this QMR are being submitted to the County for review <br /> 3 <br />
