Main Street, Stockton <br /> Site Status Notes <br /> USTs installed in 1964,removed circa 1988, 1989, 1993. <br /> Soil contamination is known to extent to 112 feet bsg, with an abrupt concentration decline <br /> between 85 and 95 feet bsg. Lateral extent of impacted soil defined. <br /> Vertical extent of impacted ground water not delineated; significant benzene to 90 feet bsg. <br /> There are no significant barriers to vertical migration; the few clay units drawn are shown with <br /> limited lateral extent. <br /> There are pumping domestic wells nearby, 400 to 600 feet; completed at 72 to 125 feet bsg and <br /> 168 to 188 feet bsg. The wells are not currently monitored for fuel contaminants. <br /> The occurrence of 1,2-DCA is not well monitored or characterized, one event detected 240 ppb <br /> in the deepest well. <br />
