Former Beacon Station No 12474 June 7,2005 <br /> Stockton California Results of Addtt�onal Groundwater Assessment <br /> . toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), and the seven fuel oxygenates methyl-t-butyl <br /> ether (MTBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl-t-butyl ether (ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether <br /> (TAME), Cert-butanol (TBA), methanol and ethanol, and for the two lead scavengers 1,2- <br /> dichloroethane (DCA) and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB) by EPA Method 8260B The four <br /> stockpile soil samples were combined into one composite sample at the laboratory and <br /> analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd) by EPA Method M8015, TPHg <br /> and BTEX by EPA Method 8260B, and for total lead by EPA Method 60I0 Soil analytical <br /> results are summarized in Table 1 <br /> On March 29 and 30, 2004 Horizon oversaw Gregg Drilling develop monitoring wells MW- <br /> 13 through MW-17 by surge and bailing and recovered groundwater samples The depth to <br /> static groundwater measured during well sampling was approximately 56 to 60 feet bsg <br /> Water generated from the well development operation was placed in labeled 55-gallon <br /> Department of Transportation (DOT) approved drums for temporary on-site storage Gregg <br /> Drilling monitoring well development logs are contained in Appendix D <br /> The monitoring well groundwater samples were submitted, under chain-of-custody <br /> documentation, to Kiff and analyzed for TPHg BTEX, the seven fuel oxygenates MTBE, <br /> DIPE, ETBE, TAME, TBA, methanol, ethanol, and the lead scavenger compounds DCA and <br /> EDB by EPA Method 8260B Groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 3 <br /> Groundwater analytical reports are contained in Appendix E <br /> On March 4, 2004 the location and elevation of the monitoring well casings were surveyed <br /> to GeoTracker specifications by Virgil Chavez Land Surveying Copies of the survey report <br /> and map are contained in Appendix F <br /> On April 5 and 6, 2004 Horizon transported approximately 12 tons of drill cuttings soil to <br /> Kiefer Landfill Facility for disposal Copies of the Kiefer Landfill facility scale tickets are <br /> contained in Appendix G <br /> AddMIGWassmnt <br /> Project No 1474 15 5 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC. <br />
