Former Beacon Station No 12474 June 7,2005 Stockton California Results of Addtt�onal Groundwater Assessment . toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), and the seven fuel oxygenates methyl-t-butyl ether (MTBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl-t-butyl ether (ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME), Cert-butanol (TBA), methanol and ethanol, and for the two lead scavengers 1,2- dichloroethane (DCA) and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB) by EPA Method 8260B The four stockpile soil samples were combined into one composite sample at the laboratory and analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd) by EPA Method M8015, TPHg and BTEX by EPA Method 8260B, and for total lead by EPA Method 60I0 Soil analytical results are summarized in Table 1 On March 29 and 30, 2004 Horizon oversaw Gregg Drilling develop monitoring wells MW- 13 through MW-17 by surge and bailing and recovered groundwater samples The depth to static groundwater measured during well sampling was approximately 56 to 60 feet bsg Water generated from the well development operation was placed in labeled 55-gallon Department of Transportation (DOT) approved drums for temporary on-site storage Gregg Drilling monitoring well development logs are contained in Appendix D The monitoring well groundwater samples were submitted, under chain-of-custody documentation, to Kiff and analyzed for TPHg BTEX, the seven fuel oxygenates MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, TBA, methanol, ethanol, and the lead scavenger compounds DCA and EDB by EPA Method 8260B Groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 3 Groundwater analytical reports are contained in Appendix E On March 4, 2004 the location and elevation of the monitoring well casings were surveyed to GeoTracker specifications by Virgil Chavez Land Surveying Copies of the survey report and map are contained in Appendix F On April 5 and 6, 2004 Horizon transported approximately 12 tons of drill cuttings soil to Kiefer Landfill Facility for disposal Copies of the Kiefer Landfill facility scale tickets are contained in Appendix G AddMIGWassmnt Project No 1474 15 5 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
