TANK CLOSURE REPORT—BEACON ; 474 -2-
3440 East Main Street
Stockton, California
AMV Project No. 19012.03
On September 16, 1993, a total of ten soil samples were collected for analysis from the tank
basin. The sample locations were designated by Mr. Snavely. Samples collected on
September 16, 1993, were collected at depths of 17 and 21 feet below grade. The soil samples
were analyzed for concentrations of BTEX and TPHg. Five of the ten samples were collected
at the west end of the tank basin and five samples were collected on the east end of the tank
basin.
Analytical results from soil samples collected from the tank basin are compiled in Table 1.
Copies of certified analytical results for soil samples collected from the underground storage tank
basin on September 16, 1993 are contained in Appendix A.
3.4 PRODUCT PIPING TRENCH SOIL SAMPLING
On September 16, 1993, four soil samples were collected from the pump island area located at
the west end of the site and from the former product distribution line areas. Locations of the
former product distribution lines and the fuel dispenser islands are illustrated on Figure 4, along
with sample collection locations P-1 through P-4. Soil sample locations were designated by
Mr. Snavely. Soil sample depth was 5 feet below grade. Soil samples were submitted for
analysis of BTEX and TPHg. Copies of certified soil sample analytical reports are presented
in Appendix A. Soil sample analytical results are compiled in Table 2.
On September 28, 1993, four soil samples were collected from the former pump island area
located at the west end of the site and from the former product distribution line areas. Refer
to Figure 5 for location of product distribution lines, fuel dispenser islands, and sample
collection locations P 1-B through P4-B. Additional soil samples and locations were designated
by Mr. Mike Infurna of San Joaquin County. Soil sample depth was 5 feet below grade. Soil
samples were submitted for analysis of BTEX, TPHg, total lead, and 1,2-Dibromoethane(EDB).
Copies of certified soil sample analytical reports are presented in Appendix A. Soil sample
analytical results are compiled in Table 2.
On September 34, 1993, two soil samples were collected from the pump island area located at
the west end of the site and from the former product distribution line areas. Refer to Figure 6
for locations of product distribution lines, fuel dispenser islands, and sample collection locations
SL-1 and SL-2. Additional soil samples and locations were designated by Mr. Infurna. Soil =
sample depth was 3 feet below grade. Soil samples were submitted for analysis of BTEX,
TPHg, total lead, and EDB. Copies of certified soil sample analytical reports are presented in
Appendix A. Soil sample analytical results are compiled in Table 2.
r
RPTot2.ECD
