Main <br /> Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> As stated in numerous letters from the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) , and the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) , further <br /> site assessment is required before the above referenced site can be <br /> evaluated for closure. Requests for additional information <br /> defining the extent of groundwater contamination have been made <br /> since July 6, 1988 (CVRWQCB) . <br /> A work plan to define the extent of groundwater contamination is <br /> due May 31, 1991. A complete Preliminary Assessment Report (PAR) <br /> is due July 30, 1991. Upon completion of the PAR, quarterly <br /> groundwater monitoring shall be initiated and reports (see January <br /> 25, 1991 PHS/EHD correspondence enclosed) shall be submitted to the <br /> PHS/EHD and to the CVRWQCB. <br /> Only after thorough review of comprehensive and confirming <br /> documentation can closure evaluation take place. <br /> Failure to comply with these requests and submittal dates will <br /> result in a request for formal enforcement action by CVRWQCB. <br /> If you have any questions contact Eleanor Ratliff, RENS, at <br /> (209) 468-3454. <br /> Jogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H. <br /> Health Officer <br /> An <br /> urie A.
