Box 2009
Stockton, Ca. 95201
Re: Soil Aeration
Per your reporting requirements we are ready to start aeration of
contaminated soils removed from the Food and Liquor store located at
890 N. Main Street, Manteca, California.
The soil was relocated to Manteca Sand and Gravel's yard located at
812 Moffat Blvd. , Manteca, California.
There is approximately 324 yards of soil to be aerated. We would limit
aeration to no more than 60 yards per day. Our worst contamination by
weight is 830 mg/kg.
J. H. Kleinfelder & Assoc. will be monitoring the process to determine
when all contaminants have been strapped off.
The process once started would be continuous until all soils have been
cleaned.
All Materials once cleaned would be trucked to the county landfill and
disposed of.
Enclosed is a copy of all analytical results from J. H. Kleinfelder &
Assoc. regarding the soils at the site.
We will be laying out the first soils on May 15, 1987. Please contact
us if there are any questions.
Sincerely,
Bryce Ruschhaupt
President
California Petroleum Equipment, Inc.
BR/rmc
enc
cc The Customer Company
J.
