Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation of an <br /> underground storage tank site located at <br /> East Bay Municipal Utility District's Stockton Service Center, 1804 W. Main <br /> Street, as been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). The plan is a proposal for the <br /> bioremediation of the groundwater at the Stockton Service Center which was <br /> contaminated due to unauthorized releases associated with underground storage <br /> tanks (UST) which were located on the property. <br /> PHS/EHD, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tentative determination that <br /> the plan is in compliance with local, State and Federal laws and regulations and that <br /> the resultant work will not create significant adverse environmental impacts which <br /> exceed the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at the following locations <br /> during the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.: <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> 445 N. San Joaquin Street <br /> Stockton <br /> East Bay MUD, Stockton Service Center <br /> 1804 W. Main Street <br /> Stockton <br /> Boggs Tract Community Center <br /> 533 Los Angeles Avenue <br /> Stockton <br /> Final approval for the plan is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, 1995. <br /> Questions should be directed to Diane M.
