Scope of Work <br /> B&V Waste Science and Technology Corp. (BVWST) has been contracted by <br /> the East Bay Municipal Utility District (District) to perform additional assessment, <br /> monitoring, and remediation services at the District's Stockton Service Center. This <br /> work plan delineates the proposed assessment and monitoring activities. The <br /> objectives of the additional assessment and monitoring are as follows: <br /> • Verify the extent of groundwater contamination resulting from leaking <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) formerly located at the Service Center. <br /> �'J • Monitor the groundwater at the site on a quarterly basis. <br /> • Collect sufficient data to determine the most feasible and appropriate <br /> remedial action for the site. <br /> r To achieve these objectives_, the additional assessment and monitoring activities <br /> L will include the following: <br /> • ,Location of underground utilities by a subcontracted utility locator. <br /> • Drilling two monitoring well soil borings and collecting soil samples. <br /> • Collecting eight HydroPunch II® groundwater samples. <br /> • <br /> Completing the two soil borings as groundwater monitoring wells and <br /> collecting groundwater samples. <br /> • Applying for Case II closure if MW-1 is invalidated by the results of the <br /> HydroPunch II® and MW-8 groundwater samples. <br /> • Submitting soil and groundwater to the District laboratory (Certification # <br /> 1060) for chemical analyses. <br /> 93822 East Bay Municipal Utility District <br /> 40429200.wp 1 Work Plan-Stockton Service Center <br />
