ADDITIONAL SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> ' <br /> AND <br /> REMEDIAL OPTIONS REPORT <br /> ' STOCKTON SERVICE CENTER <br /> ' STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1.0 Introduction <br /> B&V Waste Science and Technology Corp (BVWST) was retained by the East <br /> Bay Municipal Utility District (District) on June 24, 1993, to perform additional <br /> assessment, monitoring, and remediation services at the District's Stockton Service <br /> Center This report presents the results of BVWST's assessment and monitoring <br /> ' activities <br /> The objectives of the additional assessment and monitoring were as follows <br /> • Verify the extent of groundwater contamination resulting from leaking <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) formerly located at the Service <br /> Center <br /> • Monitor the groundwater at the site on a quarterly basis <br /> ' 0 Collect sufficient data to determine the most feasible and appropriate <br /> remedial action for the site <br /> ' An additional objective of this report is to identify and evaluate remedial <br /> options for the site <br /> The report was prepared using the following guidance documents <br /> ' • State of California, Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Field Manual, <br /> • California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay <br /> Region, Th-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary <br /> Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tank Sites <br /> hit <br /> ' 931122 East Say Municipal Utility Distnct <br /> 40429500 asa 1 Stockton Svc Ctr -Site AssessmentlRemedial Options <br />
