March Ln,
Stockton—Ownership info &maps 082808 .pdf
:Dear Ms. Rishwane,
„Thank you for recently returning my telephone call. As we discussed, ConocoPhillips Company is performing an
environmental assessment of the soil and groundwater in the areas surrounding the 76 Station, #5886, located
at 2701 W. March Lane in Stockton, CA., also identified as San Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel #118-020-05.
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) requires the assessment to determine If
the areas have been impacted by gasoline that may have originated from the service station. In order to
comply with the SJCEHD, we are requesting permission to enter the property located at the above address, to
Install (3) groundwater-monitoring wells - "MW-11D, MW-11I & MW-11S," and one (1) hand boring - "HB-
4" (the Work) as labeled and shown on "Exhibit A," the site plan attached to the License Agreement. "HB-4" is a
one-time soil boring that will be tested and, upon completion of the test, it will be filled with grout,
It will take approximately two (2) days to install the wells and advance the hand boring. The time and date of
the Work will be discussed with you and/or your tenants (whoever you prefer) to minimize disruptions to the
businesses on this property. When the installations are complete, twelve-inch (12") metal covers will be set
flush with the ground. We will also need to access the wells on a quarterly basis to test the groundwater. The
quarterly sampling will take place over a period,of five (5) years and can also be conducted at times that are
Convenient for the property owner and/or tenants. At the completion of its environmental assessment,
ConocoPhillips Company will remove the wells and return the surface to its original gradient.
With your cooperation, we would like to expedite the execution of the required License Agreement that is
necessary between the property owners and ConocoPhillips Company so that we may begin the Work as soon as
possible. As requested, I have attached the following information:
• Ownership information as It relates to the subject property- f
. Assessor's Map showing the property
• Our standard License Agreement including "Exhibit A" which is the Site Plan showing the proposed
locations for the groundwater monitoring wells "MW-11D, MW-11I & MW-11S" and the soil boring (hand
boring) "HB-4."
Please review the License Agreement and let me know if the standard language is acceptable,or if there are
edits that you would like to include. If you are agreeable to the terms as written, this document is ready for
execution and simply needs the legal signature for TransAmerica. We want to thank you in advance for your
assistance in this Important environmental matter. feel free to call or email me at anytime if,you have
questions or concerns.
i
Sincerely,
Bonnie Morrow,Contracts Associate
Principle Technical Services-Approved Service Provider for
ConocoPhillips-Property Tax, Real Estate,
'Right of Way&Claims
1232 Park Street, Suite 300
Paso Robles,CA 93446
Phone: (805) 226-2647 -.
9/5/2008
