S ECOR
Ms. Margaret Lagorio
76 Station No. 5886
February 21,2008
Page 2 .,
As shown on the attached map from SECOR's Quarterly Remedial Performance Summary
— First Quarter 2004, dated April 30, 2004, a tank pit well is located near MW-3, and it
i' appears that TRC field personnel monitored and sampled this tank pit well instead of well
MW-3. SECOR has requested that TRC sample MW-3 instead of the tank pit well, that
they include the tank pit well on their site plan to avoid confusion of these two wells in the
future, and that their tables be revised to indicate the well monitored and sampled.
SECOR has also requested that TRC return to the site during the first quarter 2008 to
sample MW-3, because during telephone communication on February 20, 2008, SECOR
confirmed that TRC had again 'sampled the tank pit well instead of MW-3 during the first
quarter 2008 sampling event.
Ifou have any y questions or comments regarding this letter, please do not hesitate to f
contact Lee Ignatowicz at (916) 861-0400 x 265 or at direct line 916 — 384 - 0795.
