1.0 Introduction <br /> IT Corporation was retained by BP Oil to perform a preconstruction site assessment and <br /> provide environmental assistance to UST replacement and associated construction activities at <br /> BP Oil Station 11190, located at 1206 March Lane in Stockton, Califomia. This work <br /> consists of the following tasks: <br /> • Examining San Joaquin County Health Department UST records regarding the <br /> site (completed) <br /> + • Preparing a Soil Contamination Work Plan (completed) <br /> • Field Investigation (completed) <br /> • Preparing a Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report and Soil <br /> Remediation Proposal (completed) <br /> • Providing environmental sampling during UST replacement and other <br /> construction activities (to occur) <br /> • Coordinate soil disposal (to occur) " <br /> • Preparing a UST Closure Report (to occur). <br /> During recent discussions with San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental <br /> Health Division personnel, it was determined that the pre-construction site assessment <br /> requested by BP Oil was to be permitted by San Joaquin County as an Environmental <br /> �- Assessment and was to be performed as outlined in Figure A-1 of Appendix A of the "Tri- <br /> Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of <br /> Underground Storage Sites (January 1991)" (Appendix A). The documents listed as tasks <br /> (above) are designed along those guidelines. <br /> 2.0 Site Background <br /> 2.1 Location <br /> The site is located at 1206 March Lane in Stockton, California, at the southwest comer of <br /> March and West Lanes (Figure 1).
