You have been directed to <br /> conduct ground water monitoring and sampling, to complete the site ground water investigation, <br /> and to submit a corrective action feasibility study. In the EHD letter dated August 7, 2008, a <br /> work plan was approved for the destruction of selected monitoring wells (MWs) and installation <br /> of more discretely screened replacement MWs. New MWs were installed, but only sampled <br /> once on November 11, 2008. The EHD has not received any ground water sample analytical <br /> results or reports for this site since April 4, 2009. <br /> The ground water monitoring and sampling is required to assess the full extent of ground water <br /> contamination and to evaluate contaminant concentration trends over time. The EHD directive <br /> letter dated June 22, 2009, set a schedule for the additional work to be performed. MWs were <br /> to be monitored and sampled.
