Mariposa Road <br /> Opposite to <br /> USA Gasoline Station # 110 <br /> 2132 Mariposa Road <br /> Stockton, California <br /> To whom it may concern: <br /> USA Gasoline Corporation ("USA") is presently involved in a groundwater contamination <br /> assessment study at its above referenced station. This study is being coordinated with the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Services ("AGENCY"). The AGENCY is requiring that USA evaluate <br /> the extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in the subsurface immediately south of the USA site. Thus <br /> it has become necessary for USA to expand its study to include the side walk in front of your <br /> property. Accordingly, USA is requesting temporary access to the side walk on your side of <br /> the property (APN #17129055). <br /> USA plans to install one groundwater monitoring well on the side walk (city right of way). All <br /> necessary permits will be obtained from the city before installing this well. Please refer to the <br /> enclosed site map for the location of the proposed monitoring well. It is important to note that <br /> the AGENCY is overseeing this project. The AGENCY has expressed great interest in moving <br /> forward as quickly as possible with this work. If you would like to discuss this matter with the <br /> AGENCY please contact Ms. Linda Turkette at (408) 927-0710 Ext 2647. <br /> If you agree to grant permission to use the side walk area in front of your property, please sign <br /> in the space provided on the following page and return it in the enclosed envelope. <br /> USA is very anxious to begin work as soon as possible.
