The slotted screen interval for the proposed monitoring
wells should not exceed 20 feet in total length.
2 . Soil samples collected should also be tested for total
lead and if the result is over 5ppm, the waste extraction
test should be performed.
3 . Water samples should be tested for total lead.
4 . A permit application and the associated $89. 00 fee must
be submitted and the permit approved before work can
begin. A separate permit application and fee is needed
for each separate parcel of land to be drilled on. Any
applicable encroachment permits or access agreements must
also be submitted along with the permit application(s) .
If you have any questions, contact Linda Turkatte, EHS, of my staff
at (209) 468-3442 .
Jogi Khan a, M.D. , M.P.H.
Health Khan
LaurieA.
