groundwater monitoring wells, <br /> • Drill and install three groundwater monitoring wells to depths of <br /> approximately 85 feet below the ground surface (bgs) It is <br /> ' anticipated that first groundwater is at approximately 75 feet bgs, <br /> Collect soil samples from the ground surface at 5-foot intervals to <br /> ' the first occurrence of groundwater Selected soil samples will be <br /> analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) quantitated <br /> against gasoline and diesel standards and benzene, toluene, <br /> ' ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) using EPA methods 8015 <br /> and 8020, respectively, <br /> ' 0 Purge and sample groundwater from each of the three installed <br /> monitoring wells All groundwater samples will be analyzed for <br /> TPH, BTEX, and total lead using EPA methods 8015, 8020, and <br /> 7421, respectively; <br /> • Survey well casings for relative elevation and measure depths to <br /> ' groundwater in all wells to evaluate the groundwater flow direction <br /> and hydraulic gradient, <br /> • Conduct a vapor extraction treatability test on the newly installed <br /> wells Vapor samples will be collected and analyzed for TPH and <br /> BTEX, and <br /> ' 0 mi to USA and PHS/EHD a written report <br /> Prepare and submit po <br /> ' summanzing the findings of this investigation This report will <br /> include characterization of potential impaction of soil and/or <br /> groundwater as well as the interim remedial alternative <br /> ' 1.3 Schedule <br /> ' Park anticipates beginning the work described in this workplan within 21 days of receiving <br /> approval from the PHS/EHD and authorization from USA Petroleum Field activities will be <br /> completed within 30 days of mobilization Submittal of a site characterization report well be <br /> ' within 30 days of receipt of all data <br /> ' 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1 Facility Description <br /> ' The USA Petroleum service station is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Fast <br /> " A 1125J2 WP 2 <br />
