All employees who receive this training will be asked to sign an attendance sheet to facilitate maintenance <br /> of accurate training records.The attendance sheet will serve as training documentation. <br /> Employee Rights <br /> 1. An employee acting in good faith has the right to refuse work under conditions which the employee <br /> reasonably believes present a danger of death or serious physical harm to the employee without fear of <br /> getting corrective action. In such cases, it is Farmington Fresh policy to reassign the employee to <br /> alternate duties until the hazard is fixed. <br /> Record Keeping <br /> 1. Exposure data,if known,will be kept in a permanent fife by the responsible department supervisor. <br /> Outside Contractors <br /> It will the responsibility of the Facilities department to provide other personnel or outside contractors the <br /> toijowing information -- <br /> 1. Hazardous chemicals to which they may be exposed while in the work place. <br /> 2. Measures to lessen the possibility of exposure. <br /> 3. Location of MSDS forall hazardous chemicals. <br /> 4. Procedures to follow if they are exposed. <br /> 5. The Facilities Department will also be responsible for contacting the contractors before work is <br /> started and finding out what chemicals the contractors is bringing into the workplace.If employees are <br /> to be exposed with these chemicals,they will be notified by the Facilities Department. <br /> Inventory of Hazardous Substances and Agents <br /> e Quality control Departmentor ciesignate will maintain and keep an inventory listo azar ous <br /> substances used at the facility. <br /> 2. When a chemical is transferred from the container it was purchased into a storage container <br /> (1/2/5 gallon safety can)or immediate use container(wash bottle,plunger bottle), it must be labeled <br /> with the chemical name(s)or common name.The SDS should be reviewed to ensure that the <br /> chemical is transferred into an appropriate container. <br /> Hazardous Waste Waste Storage <br /> 1. All hazardous waste containers will be placed outside in the hazardous waste designated location and <br /> labeled per Attachment#1 <br /> 2. Each Container will be marked will be marked with date emptied. <br /> 3. Each container must be kept closed at all time. <br /> 4. All used aerosol cans will be placed into a container marked"Universal Waste Aerosol Cans Only". <br /> S. All used lamps will be placed into a container boxes marked"Universal Waste Lamps Only". <br /> 6. All used oils will be placed into a container marked "Waste Oil Only". <br /> 7. All universal waste shall not be store on-site greater than 1 year. <br /> Hazardous Waste Removal and Records <br /> 1. All hazardous waste shall be remove within 180 days. <br /> 2. All waste manifests shall be retain for a minimum of 3 years and sent to DTSC with 30 days of pick-up. <br />
