San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> 1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205-6232 <br /> Telephone:(209)468-3420 Fax:(209)468-3433 Web:www.sigov.org/ehd <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> FARMINGTON FRESH SALES LLC 7735 S HWY 99 W FRONTAGE RD, STOCKTON I November 14, 2016 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I, CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 406 CCR 66261.7 Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> The following was noted at the time of inspection: <br /> 1)Two undated 55-gallon containers which previous held a corrosive hazardous material were observed inside the <br /> outdoor chemical enclosure area, and twenty two 55-gallon containers which previous held a hazardous material <br /> were observed next to the metal shed. <br /> 2) Seven empty 250-gallon totes and more than twenty 55-gallon blue containers which previously held corrosive <br /> liquid were observed in the bone yard area located northwest of the site building. <br /> Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they <br /> were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers <br /> present onsite per this section. Submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> The following was observed at the time of inspection: <br /> 1) 600 gallons of corrosive substance (Pac Chlor) in two plastic totes and twelve 5-gallon containers of waste <br /> chemicals were observed in the outdoor chemical storage enclosure, according to Mr Gonzalez, these chemicals <br /> haven't been used in their process for over 1 year. These containers had no hazardous waste labels and were <br /> labeled with words"do not use". <br /> 2) Fourteen 5-gallon containers labeled as"used oil"were observed in the outdoor bone yard area located west of <br /> the site building. Several of these containers had faded and unfilled hazardous waste labels. <br /> 3) Two 250-gallon totes (of 1790 Hypochlorite solution) and more than twenty 55-gallon containers of corrosive <br /> liquid which haven't been used in their process for over 1 year were observed in the bone yard area northwest of the <br /> site building. <br /> 4)Two unlabeled 55-gallon drums with cut off tops storing oily sludgy liquid and soil were located in front of the <br /> outdoor chemical storage enclosure. <br /> 5) One unlabeled 55-gallon container 1/3 full of rusted aerosol cans (some without actuators) was observed in front <br /> of the outdoor chemical storage enclosure. <br /> 6) Waste paint materials (oil and latex paint containers)were observed inside one open unlabeled 55-gallon <br /> container located next to the hazardous waste storage area. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of <br /> hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days.
