' 2373 Mariposa Road August 16, 1999 <br /> Pro ect 9688 Page 1 <br /> � INTRODUCTION <br /> Purpose <br /> The purpose of this report is to describe the procedures and results of a <br /> ' continuing soil and groundwater investigation of the Husky Carne facility <br /> located at 2373 Mariposa Road in Stockton, California The nature of the work <br /> carried out was determined during discussions between William Dubovsky <br /> Environmental (WDE), the owners of the subject property, and Mr Michael <br /> Infurna, Senior REHS of the Site Mitigation Unit of the Environmental <br /> ' Health Division (EHD), San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> The specifics of the work were presented in the WDE Work Plan dated June 4, <br /> 1999 <br /> The work was performed in general accordance with the requirements and <br /> standards presented in the State Water Resources Control Board's Leaking <br /> Underground Fuel Tank (LUFT) manual and the TRI-Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of <br /> Underground Tank Sites These documents set the work requirements as part <br /> of the work involved when an unauthorized fuel release has occurred and <br /> the groundwater below the site may have been affected <br /> Scope <br /> The scope of the work covered in this Summary Report includes the <br /> following <br /> •Drilling equipment and methods <br /> •Soil sampling equipment and techniques <br /> Soil sample handling and transportation <br /> •Grab groundwater sampling equipment and techniques <br /> Grab groundwater sample handling and transportation <br /> -Management of soil cuttings and purge water <br /> ' <br /> *Sample analyses <br /> *Data interpretation <br /> Site Location and Description <br /> The subject commercial site is located along the south side of Mariposa Road <br /> between Highway 99 and Farmington Road in Stockton, California Figure 1 <br /> of Appendix A shows the general site vicinity Currently the site is occupied <br /> with the Husky Crane Company and is used to store and maintain cranes and <br /> associated supplies and equipment The two USTs were located along the east <br /> property line about 160 feet south of Mariposa Street <br /> WILLIAM DUBOVSKY ENVIRONMENTAL <br />
