I <br /> WALLACE- KUHL August 22, 1996 <br /> Er ASSOCIATES INC. <br /> Ms Jan Cordini <br /> U S RENTALS <br /> 1581 Cummins Road, Suite 155 <br /> Modesto, California 95358 <br /> REVISED QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONI'T'ORING <br /> AND SAMPLING REPORT <br /> 1444 MARIPOSA ROAD <br /> Stockton, California 95205 <br /> WKA No 293 8 03 <br /> Dear Ms Cordini, <br /> Recent ground water elevation measurements were obtained from the three on-site <br /> ! monitoring wells on May 2, 1996, historic ground water elevation data is provided <br /> in Table 1 Based on current ground water elevation measurements, the ground <br /> water flow beneath the subject property is in a northwesterly direction with an <br /> ' estimated hydraulic gradient of 0 004 feet/foot (Plate 2) <br /> Geotechnical Engineering Ground water samples were also obtained from the three on-site monitoring wells <br /> on May 2, 1996 Prior to purging and sampling, the water level irn each well was <br /> 7 'yr Engineering Geology <br /> measured with an electronic water level indicator and checked for visual signs of <br /> EmironmentalConsulting free product using new, clean, disposable polyethylene bailers No free product, <br /> sheen or odor was observed in the monitoring wells Prior to sampling, <br /> Remediation Services <br /> approximately three well volumes of water were removed from the wells by using a <br /> Construction Inspection 3'/a-inch diameter polyvinyl chlonde (PVC) bailer and sampling equipment was <br /> cleaned with a solution of tnsodium phosphate and water to minimize the potential <br /> j Materials Testing <br /> for cross-contamination between the wells Ground water samples were then <br /> collected using new polyethylene disposable bailers and decanted into appropriate <br /> sampling containers provided by the analytical laboratory The samples were <br /> 3050 Industrial Blvd immediately placed in an ice-chest containing ice and submitted under chain-Of <br /> West Sacramento custody to a California Department of Health Services certified laboratory for <br /> CA 95691 analysis of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons(TPH) as gasoline, diesel, and motor oil <br /> Fax 916 372 2555 using modified EPA method 8015,Methyl Tert Butyl Ether(MTBE) using EPA <br /> !� <br /> 916 372 1434 <br /> R-y,W papa <br />
