• <br /> 1 <br /> SITE HISTORY: '' <br /> Collegeville Market is a country store and restaurant with a self- <br /> service gasoline island selling regular and unleaded regular gasoline. <br /> They have a 1000 gallon underground regular tank and a 3000 gallon <br /> underground unleaded regular tank. <br /> GROUNDWATER DEPTH: <br /> Local groundwater depth"in this area is 00 f.e The amount of soil <br /> to be removed is estimated to be 80 cubic yards. Sampling points <br /> are designated on the site drawing. <br /> CONTRACTED LABORATORY: <br /> " T <br /> Blaine Technical Services will be contracted to take the soil samples, <br /> they will then be submitted to Anametrix, Inc. , a state approved <br /> laboratory, and analyzed for BTX. Analytical data will be transmitted <br /> to the San Joaquin Local Health District. <br /> REHEDIAL STEPS FOR SOIL CLEAN-UP: <br /> The cross hatched areas on the site drawing will be removed initially <br /> up to one foot depth with a scoop/backhoe. The soil atljone foot depth 7 <br /> will then be checked with a hydrocarbon "soil sniffer! to determine <br /> if additional soil needs to be removed. Once the sniffer indicates <br /> sufficient soil has been removed, soil samples will be taken at desig- <br /> nated locations and submitted for analyses. <br /> Soil affected by the gasoline spill is proposed to be treated by <br /> aeration on site since this was unleaded gasoline and not a large <br /> quantity. On site treatment area is identified on site drawing. All <br /> affected soil areas removed will be replaced by comparable soil materials <br /> and compacted back to original conditions. <br /> TIME SCHEDULE: <br /> Excavation of soil can begin within 7 days of approval. Soil sampling <br /> results can be obtained within 3 weeks of sampling and submittal to <br /> analytical laboratory. <br /> I IO <br />
