The <br /> work plan was prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division to investigate an unauthorized release associated with operation of <br /> an underground storage tank system on the site. <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)for the procurement of a soil boring permit. The work is being performed at the <br /> request of Mr.Philip Mathew to investigate for soil impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons,originally <br /> encountered during performance of a recent dispenser island area upgrade. <br /> The subject property is located south-east of the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, at the <br /> intersection of Jack Tone Road and Mariposa Road. Land use of the surrounding properties is <br /> agricultural, residential and commercial. The subject site is the location of Collegeville Market, a <br /> fueling station and marketplace. The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1; a plan of the site <br /> is illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> DRILLING AND SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION <br /> AGE proposes to advance one soil probe borings using GeoProbe "direct-push" techniques.
