The device must be installed above <br /> ground to permit visual observation of air or water discharge <br /> should pressures develop in your system in excess: of pressures <br /> maintained . by this Company' s system. Any repairs required to <br /> assure proper operation of the device will be at your expense. <br /> Attached for your convenience is a list of Certified Backflow <br /> Testers who can, also, install the required devices . If you <br /> choose—to -have-.the-devices.-installed by-other—means., - I .will send.. <br /> �~ you a more complete list of Certified Backflow Testers after you <br /> have notified Mr. Fowler that your devices have been installed. <br /> Your devices will require testing once a year. When that time <br /> arises, we will notify you. <br /> Please note that for installations between 3/4" and 2" in size, <br /> full port ball valves must be used. For installations 2 1/2" and <br /> larger in size, resilient seated gate valves are required. <br /> You will be allowed thirty days from the date of this letter to <br /> provide the corrective measures previously outlined.
