Kennedy,/Jenks Consultants <br /> ' 3 3 2 Aerial Photo Review <br /> Aerial photographs of the vicinity of the subject property were examined for this <br /> investigation at San Joaquin County Public Works in Stockton, California <br /> Date Scale Comments <br /> 1983 1 400 The subject property and immediate vicinity appear to be similar to <br /> ' their current configuration, except that the parking area at the south <br /> end of the subject property appeared to be undeveloped and a small <br /> building was present near the former gasoline pump, west of the <br /> trailer currently onsite The subject property was fully developed with <br /> buildings along Market Street except for 636 Market Street, which <br /> appeared to be used for parking Property to the north was <br /> commercial/retail, and the freeway was to the south Riteway <br /> ' Cleaners and Goodwill were to the east, and The Record <br /> (newspaper)was to the west <br /> 1975 1 2000 The subject property and immediate vicinity appear to be similar to <br /> ' the 1983 aerial photograph, except that the trailer facing Stanislaus <br /> Street was not visible <br /> 1963 1 660 The subject property and immediate vicinity appear to be similar to <br /> ' the 1975 aerial photograph, except that a building was present at <br /> 130 American Street Autos were parked among the trees on the <br /> southern portion of the subject property The freeway had not yet <br /> been constructed, and adjacent property to the south across <br /> Washington Street was commercial and residential <br /> 1952 1 660 The subject property and immediate vicinity appear to be similar to <br /> the 1963 aerial photograph, except that a building was present at <br /> ' 640 Market Street, dwellings were at 601 and 621 Washington <br /> Street, and a small building was located on the parking lot at <br /> 615 Washington Street Adjacent properties were similar, however, <br /> dwellings were located to the east along Stanislaus Street, on the site <br /> currently occupied by Goodwill <br /> 1937 1 660 The subject property and immediate vicinity appear to be similar to <br /> the 1952 aerial photograph, except that a dwelling was present at <br /> 135 American Street, and a budding (possibly a church)was at <br /> 133 Stanislaus Street Many trees were visible in the middle of the <br /> subject property The surrounding area was primarily residential to <br /> the south and commercial to the north, east, and west <br /> ' 3 3 3 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map Review <br /> Date Comments <br /> 1895 The subject property was developed with twelve residences and two commercial <br /> businesses A printing company at 633 E Washington Street was housed in one 1-11/2- <br /> story building The Chinese laundry at 122-124 S American Street was housed in one <br /> main building with five outbuildings at the eastern end of the property, and an elevated <br /> tank and windmill were located in the center of the property The lot at 602-606 Market <br /> Street was developed with a residence and 648 Market Street was undeveloped <br /> Adjacent property to the north and east was residential except for a beer bottling facility <br /> to the east at 118-132 S Stanislaus Street <br /> I yOb196L%Wl4 WStexLdx 10 <br />
