Both sites are on the <br /> state Superfund list and are under administrative orders for cleanup. Current <br /> �. work includes risk assessments and feasibility studies. <br /> Mr. Como has over IS years <br /> of experience in Project Manager for design and implementation of a vapor extraction and <br /> environmental engineering, treatment system for a petroleum contaminated site in Livingston, California. <br /> including several years as a Design includes treatment of hydrocarbon vapors from an in-situ extraction <br /> project manager and five system. Vapors were treated with a thermal oxidation system at low <br /> years as an environmental temperature followed by a catalytic oxidizer. <br /> ` engineer for the USEPA, <br /> Region 9. Project Manager for the engineering design and management of a <br /> bioremediation project in Guerneville, California. This project involved the <br /> remediation of approximately 650 cubic yards of soil contaminated with <br /> gasoline and diesel at the rural site from the excavation and removal of an <br /> underground storage tank from a previous contractor. At the same site, <br /> ` conducted a soil and ground-water investigation project involving development <br /> of a workplan, installation of monitoring wells, and collection of soil and <br /> ground-water samples. <br /> Managed an audit program of 26 treatment, storage, and disposal facilities <br /> •f nationwide for a major petroleum company. Site visits were conducted and <br /> `- reports developed within three months of the contract's inception. <br /> Project Manager for over 40 underground storage tank removal and remediation <br /> +- projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Responsibilities included initial site <br /> assessment,work plan development,management of tank removals,collection <br /> of soil samples, monitoring well installation, and collection of ground-water <br /> �- samples. <br /> Project Manager for a feasibility study and remediation of a large petroleum <br /> .. waste contaminated site. Overall Project Manager for construction of California <br /> Class II landfills and hand]ing/excavation of four million cubic yards of soil <br /> including on-site disposal of 2.7 million cubic yards of designated waste in <br /> engineered fills. The project called for remediating a 300 acre site so that it <br /> could be developed for residential and commercial uses. Also responsible for <br /> staging and successful negotiation of complex regulatory issues. <br /> Project Manager for development of RCRA closure plans for land disposal <br /> facilities in California,Nevada, and Arizona. <br /> W <br /> Managed the review of RCRA disposal permit applications for disposal facilities <br /> in Louisiana,California,Arizona,Nevada,and Ohio.
