� 'rI <br /> LIGHT, AIR & SPACE CONSTRUCTION <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES COMPANY <br /> State Contractors license Number 445493 <br /> State EPA R.E.A.Number 04072 <br /> Office 408-979-0661 <br /> The USTs, dispensers, product piping, and vent piping were loaded on a truck from ECI(a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler) for transport to the ECI T.S.D. facility at 255 Pair Avenue in Richmond, <br /> California. The USTs were shipped under Hazardous Waste Manifest # 24080916, using EPA # <br /> CAC 002 584 543, <br /> SAMPLING PROCEDURE <br /> On December 21, 2004, LA&S recovered(1) soil sample(03113-1) from approximately 9.5'below <br /> • the ground surface at the north end of the UST#1 excavation, and (1) soil sample(03113-2) from <br /> approximately 9.5' below the ground surface at the south end of the UST #1 excavation. LA&S <br /> recovered (1) soil sample (03113-5) from approximately 2' below the former gasoline dispenser <br /> location and (1) soil sample (03113-6) from approximately 1' beneath the surface of the stockpiled <br /> excavated soil from the UST#1 excavation. <br /> On December 21, 2004, LA&S recovered (1) soil sample(03113-3) from approximately 9.5'below <br /> the ground surface at the north end of the UST#2 excavation, and (1) soil sample(03113-4) from <br /> approximately 9.5' below the ground surface at the south end of the UST #2 excavation. LA&S <br /> recovered (1) soil sample (03113-7) from approximately 2' below the former diesel dispenser <br /> location and (1) soil sample (03113-8) from approximately 1' beneath the surface of the stockpiled <br /> excavated soil from the UST#2 excavation. <br /> Soil samples#03113-1, 03113-2, 03113-3 and#03113-4 were recovered using a mini-excavator. A <br /> clean brass 2" x 3" brass tube was driven into the soil in the excavator bucket with a mallet until <br /> there was no observable head-space in the tube. At this time the ends of the tube were sealed with <br /> teflon sheeting and plastic caps. The tube was then labeled and the information recorded on a <br /> Chairs-of-Custody, it was then placed on crushed ice in an ice chest for transport to Sequoia <br /> Analytical Lab under a legal Chain-of-Custody for analysis. <br /> Raymond J.
