LIGHT, AIR & SPACE CONSTRUCTION <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES COMPANY <br /> State Contractor's License Number 445403 <br /> State EPA R.E.A.Number 04072 <br /> PROPOSED WORK PLAN FOR 19589 McKINLEY AVENUE, <br /> L' MANTECA, CALIFORNIA <br /> Item 1: <br /> LA&S will excavate soil from the former UST# 1 location and stockpile the excavation <br /> spoils in a proposed bio-remediation treatment pad area(see Excavation and treatment <br /> Pad Site plan). The proposed excavation will be approximately fourteen(14) feet wide <br /> by twenty-four(24) feet long and will have an approximate depth of twelve (12) feet. A <br /> P.I.D. instrument will be onsite and will be used to determine if clean soil has been <br /> reached on the side walls and bottom of the excavation. The excavation may be enlarged <br /> if field conditions warrant it. <br /> Six (6) extremity soil samples will be obtained from the excavation side walls and bottom <br /> to confirm successful removal of affected soil. One (1) soil sample will be obtained from <br /> �- each side wall and two (2) soils samples will be obtained from the bottom of the <br /> excavation. <br /> The excavation will generate approximately(150) cubic yards of affected soil. The <br /> affected soil will be placed at the proposed bio-remediation work area in a layer <br /> LN approximately one (1) foot thick and treated with appropriate bacteria to accelerate the <br /> degradation of the petroleum constituents. <br /> LN The excavation will be backfilled to grade with native soil taken from other locations on <br /> the subject property. The soil will be placed in twelve (12) inch thick lifts and <br /> mechanically compacted to a relative 90% compaction density. <br /> La <br /> Item 2: <br /> LA&S will excavate soil from the former UST#2 location and stockpile the excavation <br /> spoils in a proposed bio-remediation treatment pad area(see Excavation and treatment <br /> Pad Site plan).
