Many of the wells are constructed with
the bentonite seal in other types of formation material, such
as silt. We recommend referring to the boring logs to set
the upper limit of the string.
Please provide me with the length of the explosive string
proposed and the depth of the upper end of the string for
each well, based on the boring log contained in the January 2,
2013 Closure Report that demonstrates the explosive string
to be beginning within the targeted clay lens. We require
this information so we may verify proper destruction of the
well during the destruction inspection.
Thanks
Adrienne
Adrienne Ellsoesser, REHS
Unit IV Program Coordinator
Groundwater Protection Programs:
Site Mitigation/LOP/5mall Public Water Systems
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton , CA 95205
Ph (209)468-0343
Fax (209) 468-0341
ael Isaesser@sj cehd.com
From: Waite, Brian A fmailto:BWaiteCalchevron.com]
Sent: Wednesday, August 20, 2014 10:34 AM
To: Adrienne Ellsaesser [EH]
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH]; Gabriel Gonzalez [EH]
Subject: 437 East Miner Ave.
Adrienne,
9/9/2014
