Miner Street
Stockton, CA
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the "Second
Quarter 2008 Groundwater Monitoring Report" (Report) dated November 5, 2008 prepared by
ARCADIS for the above subject site and provides the following comments.
The Report recommends the addition of TPH-D to the list of analytes for samples from all the
monitoring wells. It also recommends destruction of monitoring well U26 which is believed to
have been paved over, poses a safety risk for monitoring and sampling and the water samples
from it have been non detect since third quarter 2004.
A reason for adding TPH-D to the analytical suite was not provided. The EHD does not object
to the addition of TPH-D but is not requiring it either.
The EHD agrees that monitoring well U26 should be located and destroyed.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (209) 468-3449.
_4
Margaret Lagorio, REHS
Program Coordinator
C: Jim Barton, CVRWQCB
David Evans, ARCADIS, 950 Glenn Drive Ste 125, Folsom, CA, 95630
