GeoStrategies Inc. <br /> 0 UNOCAL Corporation <br /> September 11, 1992 <br /> Page 4 <br /> 0 Peng,Trenches <br /> Soil samples UT-1 through UT-4 were collected from the bottom of the piping <br /> trenches on January 14, 1992 and witnessed by a representative from SJCPHS <br /> The samples were collected at a depth of between 2 and 3 feet below grade <br /> and were analyzed for TPH-Gasoline, BTEX, total lead and EDB Samples UT- <br /> 1 and UT-4 were also analyzed for Waste Extraction Test for lead (WET lead) <br /> The locations of these samples are shown on Plate 3 and the sample collection <br /> depths are presented in Table 1 <br /> TPH-Gasoline, benzene and EDB were reported as ND for samples UT-1, UT-2 <br /> and UT-4 Sample UT-3 contained 150 ppm TPH-Gasoline, 81 ppm benzene <br /> and was ND for EDB Total lead concentrations varied from 7 1 ppm to 180 <br /> ppm Samples UT-1 and UT-4 contained 12 ppm and 2 7 ppm WET lead, <br /> respectively Chemical analytical data are summarized in Tables 1 and 3 <br /> Hydraulic Lifts <br /> • Soil samples SL-1 and SL-2 were collected from beneath each of the hydraulic <br /> Iifts on February 25, 1992 The samples were collected at a depth of <br /> approximately 7 feet below grade and were analyzed for TPH-Diesel and TPH- <br /> Oil The location of these samples are shown on Plate 3 and the sample <br /> collection depths are presented in Table 1 <br /> 0 Samples SL-1 and SL-2 were ND for TPH-Diesel and TPH-Oil Chemical <br /> analytical data are summarized in Table 1 <br /> Oil-Water Se arator <br /> Soil sample SOW-1 was collected approximately 6 feet below grade beneath the <br /> I oil-water separator on February 25, 1992 The sample was analyzed for TPH- <br /> Gasoline, Diesel and Oil, BTEX, O&G, CL HC, ICRP Metals and PCBs The <br /> sample location is shown on Plate 3 and the sample collection depth is <br /> presented in Table 1 <br /> Sample SOW-1 contained 9 6 ppm total lead and was ND for TPH-Gasoline, <br /> TPH-Diesel, TPH-011, BTEX, O&G and PCBs Chemical analytical data are <br /> summarized in Tables 1 and 3 <br /> 782701-1 <br />
