GeoStrategies Inc. <br /> SUNOCAL Corporation <br /> September 11, 192 <br /> Page 5 <br /> Tank Complex and Trench Stockpile <br /> Approximately 175 cubic yards of excavated soil from the tank complex and <br /> associated product piping trenches were stockpiled east and southeast of the <br /> station building (Plate 3) Five samples designated US-1 through US-5 were <br /> collected, each representing approximately 25 cubic yards of soil Each sample <br /> was analyzed for TPH-Gasoline, BTEX, total lead and EDB <br /> Four composite samples designated US-6A-D through US-9A-D were also <br /> collected, each representing approximately 50 cubic yards of soil These samples <br /> were analyzed for TPH-Gasoline and BTEX <br /> TPH-Gasoline concentrations in samples US-1 through US-5 varied from 1 5 to <br /> 610 parts per million (ppm) Benzene concentrations varied from ND to 1 0 <br /> ppm Total lead concentrations varied from ND to 78 ppm EDB concentrations <br /> were ND for all five samples Chemical analytical data are summarized in <br /> Table 2 <br /> TPH-Gasoline and BTEX concentrations were ND for samples US-6A-D through <br /> US-9A-D Chemical analytical data are summarized in Table 2 <br /> Waste Oil Tank Stockpile <br /> Approximately 10 cubic yards of excavated soil from the 280-gallon waste oil <br /> tank excavation was stockpiled east of the former station building Sample <br /> UWS-1 was collected from this stockpile (Plate 3) <br /> Approximately 13 cubic yards of excavated soil from the 130-gallon waste oil <br /> tank was stockpiled southeast of the former station building Sample UWS-2 <br /> was collected from this stockpile (Plate 3) <br /> Samples UWS-1 and UWS-2 were analyzed for TPH-Gasoline, TPH-Diesel, <br /> TPH-Oil, O&G, CL HC, PCBs and ICAP Metals <br /> Sample UWS-1 contained 7 3 ppm TPH-Gasoline, 0071 ppm benzene, 2100 <br /> ppm TPH-Oil, 2700 ppm O&G and was less than 50 ppm for TPH-Diesel <br /> Chemical analytical data are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 <br /> Sample UWS-2 contained 170 ppm TPH-Oil, 100 ppm O&G, 390 ppm total <br /> lead and was ND for TPH-Gasoline, TPH-Diesel and BTEX Chemical <br /> analytical data are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 <br /> 782701-1 <br />
