Manteca Unified School District
Soil&Groundwater Investigation Report
Page:2
With a 2 inch continuous core barrel, Boring B-2 was drilled inside the shop building to
the south west of the former diesel dispenser to a depth of 24 feet with no odor or soil
discoloration encountered. Laboratory soil samples were collected and analyzed from the
8, 16, and 24 foot depths. Low levels of diesel were present in all of the samples. A
water sample was collected from this boring because of the larger diameter bore hole.
The water sample contained trace levels of diesel. No BTEX was detected in either the
soil or water samples.
Again, with a 2 inch continuous core barrel Boring B-3 was drilled inside the shop
building, north west of the former diesel dispenser, to a depth of 24 feet with no odor or
soil discoloration encountered.
