The EHD has determined that
sampling of MW-6 through MW-11 should continue on a quarterly basis to complete the
full hydrologic cycle and can then be reevaluated for a sampling reduction. Monitoring
wells MW-1, MW-4 and MW-5 should be sampled on a semi-annual basis, and
monitoring wells MW-2, MW-3 can be sampled on an annual basis if MW-3 is not
impacted during the next scheduled monitoring event. If a well is impacted that normally
is not impacted, that well should be sampled again during the following monitoring event.
Depths to water in all wells should be measured and recorded during each monitoring
event.
If you have any further questions regarding this matter, contact Harlin Knoll at (209) 468-
3442.
Sincerely,
Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS Margare Lagorio, R HS
Senior Environmental Health Specialist Program Coordinator
O r
Nuel Henderson, PG
Engineering Geologist
Cc: James Barton, CVRWQCB, 11020 Sun Center Dr. #200, Rancho Cordova, CA F
95670
Arthur Deicke, AGE, 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, CA 95215
I
1
Comment and Directive Letter 0209
