Quarterly Report Second Quarter 2004 <br /> , <br /> SHOCKEY AND SONS TRUCKING <br /> 850 Milgeo Avenue,Ripon, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Lee Shockey, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared. this <br /> ' quarterly report for 850 Milgeo Avenue, Ripon, California (site). The scope of work'included <br /> quarterly monitoring of five ground water monitoring wells and free-product remediation. The <br /> location of the site and its surroundings are depicted in Figure 1.Monitoring and ozone sparge wells, <br /> ' probe boring locations and structures on the site are shown in Figure 2. <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with the Central V alley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> ' Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites. Site <br /> history and findings from previous investigations arid previous monitoring events at the site are <br /> summarized in Appendix A.Quarterly monitoring data from April 1996 to the present is summarized <br /> in Tables 1 and 2 of this report. <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> • On 27 April and 10 June 2004,AGE checked site monitoring wells MW-1 for free product using an <br /> interface product probe; any free product was removed with a disposable bailer. On 10 June 2004, <br /> ground water monitoring activities were conducted on wells MW-1 through MW-3 and MW-5.Well <br /> ' MW-4 was not readily available for monitoring and sampling. All field work was performed in <br /> accordance with guidelines developed by Central Valley Regional"Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites. Ground water <br /> ' monitoring activities conformed to guidelines issued by the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD). <br /> 2.1. FREE-PRODUCT REMEDIATION <br /> ' On 27 April, 0.06 feet (0.7 inches) of free product was detected in well MW-1; the product was <br /> recovered using a disposable bailer. After free-product removal, the water and free product were <br /> ' stored on-site in 55-gallon DOT H-17 storage drums. The-removal was performed in a accordance ' <br /> with California Underground'Storage Tank Regulations, Article 5, Section 2655. <br /> 2.2. QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> ' AGE conducted quarterly ground water monitoring on-10 June 2004. <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnviro n mental,Inc. <br />
