INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Nick Bokides of Mel Bokides Petroleum,Advanced GeoEnvironrnental, Inc <br /> ' (AGE),has prepared this quarterly report for 983 Moffat Boulevard,Manteca,California(the site) <br /> The scope of work Included the Installation and development of two ground water monitoring wells <br /> and performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event The location of the site and the <br /> ' surrounding area are Illustrated on Figure 1, structures, former UST locations, and soil boring and <br /> monitoring well locations are Illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> ' This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board(RWQCB)Tri-Regional Board StaffRecommendationsforPreliminary Investigations <br /> ' and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sates dated 10 August 1990 Background Information and <br /> results of prior Investigations at the site can be found in AGE's Preliminary Investigation and <br /> Evaluation Report(PIER), dated 09 March 1999, and Additional Site Assessment Report, dated 21 <br /> March 2001 Groundwater data from previous quarterly monitoring events are Included in the tables <br /> of this report <br /> ' 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> ' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the CVRWQCB for the <br /> Investigation of underground storage tanks(UST)sites Groundwater monitoring procedures for the <br /> site were outlined in Additional Site Assessment and Ground Water Extraction Pilot Test WorkPlan, <br /> dated 31 May 2000, and conform to ground water monitoring guidelines issued by the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> 2 1 WELL INSTALLATION PROCEDURES <br /> ' Two ground water monitoring wells(MW-7 and MW-8) were installed and surveyed In November <br /> 2002 and developed in December 2002 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 1 1 Soil Sampling <br /> On 01 November 2002, a CME-75HT drill ng utilizing 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers } <br /> advanced two off-site soil borings(MW7 and MWS) The drill ng and three-man crew were supplied <br /> ' by West Haz-Mat Drilling Corporation Auger returns generated by drilling were placed on plastic <br /> and covered and was stored near the newly installed wells <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
