First Quarter 1994 Status Report March 31, 1994 <br /> Golden Grain Company, Manteca Bean Facility, 229 Moffat Blvd , Manteca, CA 6 <br /> Before collecting the VES ambient subsurface vapor concentration data, the normal vacuum applied <br /> I <br /> to the vapor extraction wells was turned off for 5 days This allowed the subsurface to reach static <br /> conditions before the collection of the vapor samples from the vapor extraction wells and MW-1, <br /> MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6 On February 23, 1994, vapor samples were collected from these wells and <br /> subsequently analyzed for TPH-G and BTEX (Table 8) <br /> CONTINUED OPERATION <br /> I <br /> Site work for the next quarter will include daily system check via modem, weekly site visits for <br /> equipment operation and maintenance, weekly monitoring of system operating conditions and vapor <br /> influent and effluent, quarterly monitoring and sampling of site wells, and quarterly sampling of <br /> treatment system influent and effluent groundwater streams Also, quarterly vapor extraction <br /> monitoring and induced vacuum readings will be measured The treatment system is expected to <br /> operate under normal conditions during the next quarter with no planned or proposed changes in <br /> configuration <br /> If you have any questions or comments regarding this report, please contact our Concord office at <br /> (510) 671-2387 <br /> .
