Golden Grain Company, Manteca Bean Facility,229 Moffat Blvd, Manteca,CA April 6, 1995 <br /> detection limit Results of effluent water sample analyses were below the City of Manteca Public <br /> Works Department Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit (No 92-2) limits <br /> CUMULATIVE REMOVAL OF TPN-G <br /> Calculations using TPH-g concentrations in vapor and system flow rates obtained during field visits <br /> Indicate that approximately 1 pound of TPH-g were removed from the soil by the VES during this <br /> quarter The cumulative amount of hydrocarbons removed by VES since start-up is estimated at <br /> 3,444 pounds Similar calculations using TPH-g concentrations in groundwater treatment system <br /> influent and the system flow rate indicates that less than 1 pound of TPH-g was removed from the <br /> groundwater during this quarter The cumulative amount of hydrocarbons removed from the <br /> groundwater is estimated to be approximately 7 pounds Calculations for mass removal from the <br /> vapor and groundwater treatment systems for the fourth quarter are Included in attachment 3 The <br /> smaller mass of hydrocarbons removed by VES during this quarter as compared to last quarter can <br /> be attributed to steadily declining hydrocarbon concentrations within the sod and the unusual <br /> amount of rainfall during the quarter <br /> CONTINUED OPERATION <br /> • <br /> Site work for the next quarter will include dally system check via modem, weekly site visits for <br /> equipment operation and maintenance, weekly monitoring of system operating conditions and vapor <br /> influent and effluent concentrations, quarterly monitoring and sampling of site wells, and quarterly <br /> sampling of treatment system influent and effluent groundwater streams Also, quarterly vapor <br /> extraction monitoring and induced vacuum readings will be measured The treatment system is <br /> expected to operate under normal conditions during the next quarter <br /> i <br /> i <br /> 0102RO15 202 <br /> GROUNDWATER <br /> EEITECHNOLO(;Y,INC <br />
