SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> 1810 E.HAZELTON AVE.,STOCKTON,CA 95205-6232 <br /> PHONE:209/468.3120 Fax:2091468-3163 <br /> S /FOR <br /> TO: Chandler Martin <br /> FROM: Ken Lavoie <br /> SUBJECT: SA-93-25 <br /> DATE: June 30, 1993 <br /> In reference to the requirements for Fire Protection for the <br /> proposed wood orchard agricultural waste processing operation, SA- <br /> 93-25 filed by Lino Risso and Warren Wise, the following comments <br /> are provided. <br /> 1. Fire Department access meeting certain public works <br /> standards are required if a building is located more than <br /> 150 feet from public access. <br /> 2. If a public water supply is not available for fire <br /> protection purposes, a static water supply, calculated to <br /> meet fire flow requirements for the occupancy and <br /> meeting standards recommended by the San Joaquin <br /> County Fire Chiefs Association, shall be provided. <br /> 3. Buildings shall be separated into areas less than 6,000 <br /> square feet by separation walls, or the building shall be <br /> equipped with a fixed fire protection sprinkler system. <br /> 4. A fire protection plan showing access and fire lanes in <br /> and around the outside storage area shall be submitted <br /> and approved. <br /> 5. Applicant shall meet the conditions and requirements of <br /> all Codes and Ordinances applicable for this type of <br /> operation. <br /> Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions <br /> relating to these requirements. <br />
