CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL r��Etj <br /> RA-89-10 FOR SA-87-20 <br /> ISLAMIC CEMETERY OF CALIFORNIA OCT 1 1 1989 <br /> �,�,� ENVIRONIVMENTAI HEALTH <br /> 1� PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> All conditions of approval shall be complied with prior to the <br /> initiation of use . <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> 1 . An Improvement Plan, prepared by a registered Civil Engineer , <br /> showing drainage , driveway access details , on-site parking, <br /> existing and proposed utility services , and grading shall be <br /> submitted to the Department of Public Works for approval. <br /> Drainage shall be retained on-site and calculations shall be <br /> submitted for approval. <br /> 2 . The frontage improvement for Beckman Road shall be con- <br /> structed in conformance with the standards for one-half of a <br /> 60-foot right-of-way rural street. <br /> 3 . Encroachment permit shall be required for work within road <br /> right-of-way . <br /> LOCAL HEALTH DISTRICT <br /> 1 . The proposed well must be at least 50 ' from the grave sites . <br /> PLANNING DIVISION <br /> 1 . The project site shall be landscaped as indicated on the <br /> revised site plan dated March 13 , 1989 . The perimeter of <br /> Phase I shall be landscaped with a combination of trees and <br /> shrubs . In addition, a minimum 10-foot-wide landscaped strip <br /> adjacent to Beckman Road shall be required as part of Phase <br /> 1 -A landscaping. Trees shall be a minimum of 15 gallons in <br /> size, 1 " caliper and planted at least every 25 ' . <br /> Evergreen or deciduous trees can be used; however, if Italian <br /> Cypress are to be used, they should be planted no more than <br /> 15 ' apart. Shrubs , a minimum of five gallons in size, shall <br /> also be planted between the trees. If a solid screen of <br /> Italian Cypress is preferred, shrubs may be clustered in other <br /> areas of the cemetery. The remaining area shall be planted in <br /> lawn and maintained via an automatic sprinkler system . <br /> 2 . The remaining portion of the project site , Phase II and 1 -B, <br /> may be available for agricultural use . As expansion of the <br /> cemetery is required into this area , the landscaping shall be <br /> extended in the same manner as Phase 1 -A. <br />
