Attorney-Client Privileged <br /> 7. ANALYTICAL METHODS <br /> Soil and ground water samples will be analyzed by Precision Environmental Technology <br /> (PET) of Stockton, CA. All samples will be analyzed via approved EPA Methods for <br /> TPH, BTEX, MTBE, Total Lead and VOCs as summarized below in table 1 below: <br /> CDCs EPA Method Number Comments <br /> 1. TPHg EPA Method 8015/8260 B TPH-G <br /> 2. TPH waste oil TPH-Waste Oil <br /> 3. BTEX, MTBE, etc EPA Method 82608 Extended BTEX scan with MTBE <br /> and break down products will be <br /> requested <br /> 4. Heavy metals EPA Method 6010 Soil and or sediment samples <br /> alike <br /> 5. VOCs/Industrial Solvent EPA Method 8260 B scan 1,2 DCA, 1,2 Dibromoethane, etc <br /> Scan <br /> 8. FIELD QUALITY CONTROL/DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES <br /> All samples will be placed on ice in a dedicated cooler in order to maintain an <br /> approximately 4 C temperature. The direct push rig shall be decontaminated in a dilute <br /> Alconox (or equivalent non-phosphate soap and water) between direct borings. <br /> Dedicated pre cleaned sampling containers shall be used in order to contain soil and <br /> ground water samples. All drill cutting, sample consumables, rinsate and <br /> decontamination fluids shall be properly contained. One field duplicate sample will be <br /> collected simultaneously with a standard sample (Jay-a duplicate groundwater sample?) <br /> from the same source under identical conditions into a separate sample container.
